23 years after stealing followers from store, man will get one-year jail

INDORE: A courtroom in Indore has sentenced a person to a 12 months in jail for the offence he had dedicated over twenty years in the past through which he had stolen two fans from a neighborhood store.

Judicial Justice of the Peace First Class (JMFC) Bhupendra Arya awarded the sentence to Shankar (55) on Tuesday and in addition imposed a superb of Rs 1,000 on him.

Shankar was caught red-handed on March 23, 1998 whereas stealing two followers from a store situated beneath Kotwali police station space. He was nabbed as a consequence of an alert watchman, he mentioned.
