The federal government on Monday stated it has began a Covid-19 helpdesk to assist resolve problems with exporters and importers pertaining to international trade corresponding to customs clearance delays and banking issues.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) will monitor the standing of exports and imports, and difficulties being confronted by commerce stakeholders in view of the surge in Covid-19 instances and assist and search appropriate resolutions to points arising in respect of worldwide commerce.
