BJP lodges police grievance towards BJD govt, Naveen for ‘hijacking’ PMAY credit score


BHUBANESWAR: The opposition BJP on Tuesday lodged complaints towards the Odisha authorities and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at varied police stations of the state accusing the administration of hijacking the credit score of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

The BJP Mahila Morcha members submitted written complaints towards the chief minister on the Capital Police Station alleging that the BJD authorities is utilizing the brand of the Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana, its personal housing scheme, on homes constructed beneath the central programme.

“Whereas the federal government mentions PMAY in small letters on boards held on beneficiaries’ homes, it writes Biju Pucca Ghar is giant letters together with an image of Biju Patnaik,” mentioned Subashini Prusty, a frontrunner of the BJP Mahila Morcha.
