Sarma who was in Manipur on Monday stated, “Congress has given a walkover and can be restricted to a single digit. Congress can be restricted to 5 seats.”
BJP is contesting 60 seats, Congress is contesting 54 seats and left the remainder of the seats for allies. Nationwide Individuals’s Occasion (NPP) is contesting 42 seats and JD(U) is contesting 38 seats. Naga Individuals’s Entrance (NPF) is contesting 10 seats.
A number of smaller events have sprung up triggering hypothesis that there could be a cut up of votes.
In 2017 Congress went out of energy in Manipur after 15 years of rule. In 2017 meeting polls Congress emerged as the one largest celebration with 28 MLAs, Manipur meeting is 60-member meeting. Later round eight Congress MLAs left the celebration. BJP received 21 seats and it contested all of the 60 seats.
