The Election Commission will take a name on Sunday on the reviews submitted by the West Bengal chief secretary and two particular ballot observers on the accidents sustained by Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, sources stated. Banerjee fell down and sustained accidents on her left leg and waist after she was allegedly pushed by unidentified folks whereas she was campaigning within the Nandigram meeting section on Wednesday night after submitting her nomination from the constituency.

Following the incident, the EC had sought reviews from Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay, particular observer Ajay Nayak and particular police observer Vivek Dube by Friday night.

The sources stated the Commission had on Friday sought extra particulars from the West Bengal chief secretary because the report was not “complete sufficient”.

For the reason that two observers had been travelling on Friday, that they had sought time till Saturday night to submit their reviews.

The reviews had been obtained by the ballot panel late this night and it could meet on Sunday to look at it.

“The Fee will take a call tomorrow (Sunday),” a functionary stated.
