An Indian delegation, led by Joint Secretary (Pakistan-Afghanistan-Iran) within the External Affairs Ministry JP Singh handed over the cranes, based on Indian Embassy in Iran.
“Mr JP Singh, JS(PAI) @Meaindia handed over two 140 ton cellular harbor cranes, the primary cargo of kit being equipped by India, for the event of phase-I of Shahid Beheshti port in Chabahar,” it tweeted.
The primary part of the venture was inaugurated in December 2017.
It’s learnt that each side additionally reviewed the general cooperation in creating the port which is being more and more seen as a fulcrum of connectivity to Central Asia.
