Narendra Modi, Sheikh Hasina inaugurate ‘Bangabandhu-Bapu Museum’


Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina on Friday collectively inaugurated the “Bangabandhu-Bapu Museum” on the Bangabandhu Worldwide Convention Centre right here. The museum has a digital exhibition on India’s Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Bangladesh‘s Father of the Nation ‘Bangabandhu’ Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The exhibition is devoted to the lives of Gandhi and ‘Bangabandhu’.

“Picture of Bapu and Bangabandhu collectively! PM @narendramodi and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina collectively inaugurated a digital exhibition on Bapu and Bangabandhu,” Arindam Bagchi, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Exterior Affairs, stated o Twitter.

“Remembering two exemplary personalities from our area, whose ideas and message resonates globally. A digital exhibition on Bapu and Bangabandhu was inaugurated earlier this night,” Workplace of the Prime Minister of India stated in a tweet.

The exhibition was inaugurated at a time when Bangladesh is celebrating the golden jubilee of the nation’s independence and the start centenary of ‘Bangabandhu’ Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
