93 nations voted in favour of the draft decision, 24 nations voted towards it, 58 nations abstained. These abstaining included Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka and UAE.
India, who abstained from voting, mentioned “we proceed to stay deeply involved on the worsening scenario” and reiterated its name for finish to all hostilities.
