AHMEDABAD: Two service provider vessels collided within the Gulf of Kutch, though no casualty or oil slick was reported within the incident, a defence official in Gujarat stated on Saturday.
The 2 service provider vessels – Aviator and Atlantic Grace – collided on November 26 evening, the defence spokesperson within the state stated in a tweet.
Indian Coast Guard (ICG) ships are on standby within the neighborhood and monitoring the state of affairs, the official stated.
“Collision betwn MVs Aviator and Atlantic Grace in GoK on 26 November evening. No casualties, oil slick reported. @IndianCoastGuard Ships within the space incl. Pollution Control stand-by in neighborhood & monitoring the state of affairs,” the Gujarat defence PRO stated within the tweet.
