Yoga guru Ramdev on Sunday withdrew his latest statements on allopathic drugs which triggered sturdy protests from the medical fraternity.

Responding to a letter from Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, Ramdev stated he desires to place the matter to relaxation.

“Hon’ble Minister, I’ve obtained your letter. I withdraw my assertion, placing to relaxation the controversy over varied medical practices… (jee aapaka patr praapt hua, usake sandarbh mein chikitsa paddatiyon ke sangharsh ke is poore vivaad ko khedapoorvak viraam dete hue most important apana vaktavy vaapis leta hoon),” he tweeted from his private Twitter deal with.

Earlier on Sunday, the well being minister had known as Ramdev’s assertion on allopathic medicines “extraordinarily unlucky”.
